Legalisation of recreational cannabis use in Canada is scheduled to take place as early as the summer of 2018. The Cochrane Chamber of Commerce is committed to assisting our members establish the protocols and policies needed to meet your duties as an employer and safeguard your employees. The team at Western Master Business Mechanics is breaking down the “noise” and summarizing the resources required so you can proceed responsibly. A key component to the program is education so the founder, Sandra Crozier-Mckee, will be presenting “Cannabis in the Workplace 2018.” at our meeting on September 19th. This will include a summary of federal, provincial and local legislation and an overview of the key components to cover in your policies regarding recreational or medical cannabis.
