Kelly Carson Memorial Golf Tournament 2024

We want to take a moment to honour the memory of Kelly Carson, our beloved former Chamber executive director, who passed away in April 2024. Kelly was a shining light in the Cochrane community, and his presence is deeply missed. To celebrate his legacy, the board of directors has chosen to name our annual golf tournament in Kelly's honour.

This year's tournament will take place at the Cochrane Golf Club, a charming 9-hole course right here in town. The event will feature a staggered start best ball format, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable day for everyone. If golf isn’t your game, we invite you to join us for a fun round of mini-putt instead!

Event Details:

• Date: September 16
• Registration: 10:30 am
• Tee Off Time: 11:00 am
• Location: Cochrane Golf Club (240 Riverview Drive)
• Cost for golf: $80 (includes golf, cart, and lunch) - Maximum 36 players
• Cost for mini golf: $40 (includes mini golf and lunch) - Maximum 20 players

Lunch, provided by WOW Bakery, will be served either before or after your game and includes a sandwich, fries, and a pop. You can choose from the following sandwich options:

1. Crispy Chicken Sandwich
2. Bulgogi Sandwich
3. Veggie Sandwich (Avocado)

Please select your sandwich choice when registering, as we’ll need to provide final quantities in advance. If you have any dietary requirements, there will be an option to note them during registration.

We would like to have some prize holes for the tournament, for example:

• Men’s Long drive
• Ladies long drive
• Hole in one (max 2 holes)
• Men’s Longest putt
• Ladies longest putt
• Team prizes for #1, #2, #3 place
• Most honest team
