Cochrane Community Awards - May 24, 2015

Twenty-eight local businesses, schools and community members whose contributions make Cochrane a vibrant, friendly and thriving community have been nominated for 2015 community awards through a two-month long nomination process.

Global Calgary host Amber Schinkel will emcee the awards celebration, which takes place on Sunday, May 24 at the Cochrane RancheHouse (2 – 4 pm). Tickets are on sale until May 16 and are available at Canadian Tire and Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre.

The event is a premiere afternoon affair featuring sumptuous hors d-oeuvres and awards presented to deserving Cochranites who make a difference in our community.

Awards will be given out in twelve broad ranging categories including Mayor and Council’s Order of Cochrane, Citizen of the Year, Newsmaker of the Year and many more.
