(An Overview of 6 Workshops)
Linda Wilson is a certified career development professional and experienced adult educator, presenter, workshop facilitator, and trainer. Linda graduated from the Xavier University with a Masters Degree in Adult Education.
Over the course of her eighteen-year career Linda has facilitated career and employer workshops on a variety of topics including Interview Skills, Effective Workplace Communication, Understanding and Appreciating Differences, Constructive Conversations, Ethical Decision-making, Supervision, and Volunteer Management. Linda has facilitated the Attracting and Retaining Employees workshop series since 2008 and has personal experience recruiting, hiring, and supervising employees. Much of Linda’s success comes from her ability to engage learners and promote dialogue. Combined with her understanding of the needs of employers, job seekers, and career changers, these experiences equip Linda to assist employers in their recruitment and retention efforts. Clients include: Telus, Oxford Group, The Co-Operators, City of Calgary, University of Calgary, Bow Valley College, and Government of Alberta.
On January 14th, Linda will provide an overview of 6 workshops that focus on attracting and retaining employees. The workshops are entitled: Finders & Keeper: Employee Recruitment Strategies; Make a Good Match: Employee Selection Strategies; Skills by Design: Employee Development Strategies; Employee Retention Strategies; Let's Talk: Conflict Resolution Strategies; Better Balance, Better Business: Employee Work-Life Balance Strategies.
