PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT IS PROCEEDING BUT AS A VIDEO CONFERENCE; NOT IN-PERSON. STAY POSTED FOR MORE INFORMATION.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Cochrane and District Chamber of Commerce will take place on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 from 11:30 am – 12:15 pm as a video conference. Details to participate on the video conference will be forthcoming to registered attendees.
In order to participate, your membership must be in good standing. If any questions pertaining to this, please contact The Cochrane and District Chamber of Commerce at 403-932-0320.
Agenda items for the meeting include:
- President’s Report;
- Financial Report, including Annual Financial Statements, budget; and
- Any other business or questions from the floor.
2020 CALL FOR NOMINATIONS BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Cochrane & District Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for Director. We presently have 8 Directors, 5 of whom are serving the last year of a 2 year term. We are looking to have a Board of 10 - 12 Directors. All nominators and nominees must be Active members in good standing of the Cochrane & District Chamber of Commerce. Officers of the Cochrane & District Chamber of Commerce are appointed by the Board at its first meeting following the AGM.

Nomination forms must be received prior to Wednesday, March 25, 2020 either by mail to The Cochrane & District Chamber of Commerce, P. O. Box 996, Cochrane, AB, T4C 1B1 or by email to info@cochranechamber.ca. Nominees will be reviewed by the Board Membership Committee.
Proxy Form
Members, not able to attend the AGM, who are entitled to vote at a meeting of members may vote by proxy by appointing in writing a proxy holder, who must be a person employed by the Active Member or a person designated as the representative of another Active Member of the Corporation, to attend and act at the meeting in the manner and to the extent authorized by the proxy.
