DESCRIPTION:The Cochrane & District Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce we are hosting an All Candidates Forum\, being held at RockPointe Church\, 255024 Lochend Rd.\, just east of town adjacent to Hwy. 1A on Tuesday\, September 14th. 2021.\n\nThe church has a seating capacity of 700 people\, however\, we anticipate being able to invite up to 300 guests to ensure proper COVID protocols are in place.\n\nThe doors will open at 6:30 p.m.\, a half-hour before the forum begins\, then it will last just one hour from 7 to 8 p.m. with an additional half-hour set aside afterward for some one-on-one discussions with candidates.\n\nEach candidate will be given 1 1/2 minutes to talk about their campaign. The bulk of the time will be set aside for a question period.\n\nIt will be moderated by Chamber President Ozzie Sawicki.\n\nWe have invited all candidates to attend\, including:\n\n\n MP Blake Richards\, Conservative Party\n Aidan Blum\, Green Party\n Tariq Elnaga\, Maverick Party\n David Gamble\, Liberal Party\n Caroline O'Driscoll\, Independent\n Ron Voss\, Independent\n Derek Sloan\, Independent\n Nadine Wellwood\, People's Party\n Sarah Zagoda\, NDP\n\n\nWe ask that any questions you would like presented to the candidates to answer are provided in advance by submitting them here.\n\n\n\nPlease note that no questions will be taken during the live event.
